T-mobile se prépare à révolutionner la prise en charge des achats en magasin
L'opérateur télécom mobile américain T-Mobile seems to be gearing up to revolutionize the in-store pickup process for its customers, as part of its accelerated digital transformation efforts.

La plateforme t-life au cœur de cette évolution digitale
T-Mobile's central hub for all things T-Mobile, known as T-Life, continues to evolve and play a key role in the carrier's digital shift. By reducing unnecessary staff interactions, the app aims to empower users and streamline transactions.
A new feature, hinted at in the code of version 11.5.2 of T-Life, could further refine the purchase experience.
According to Android Authority, which analyzed the code, T-Mobile may leverage QR codes to streamline store pickups. While the carrier already requires customers to use the app for purchases, integrating a QR code would bypass manual verifications.
Instead of navigating traditional identity checks, customers would simply present their QR code to an employee to receive their device.
Although T-Mobile is preparing support for QR-based pickups, the deployment will likely be gradual, starting with select stores to iron out technical kinks and perfect the execution before a national launch.
T-Life's expanding role in the customer journey, from account management to device purchase, further minimizes the traditional role of the retail employee, solidifying T-Mobile's pivot toward a self-service model.
This shift comes as the company continues to downsize its workforce, raising concerns about the potential impact on brand loyalty that often hinges on personal service and ease of use.
